Come Celebrate 43 years of Webelos Weekend with the Gateway District!

Webelos Scouts, Parents, and Leaders! You don't want to miss out. Webelos participate in eight different station activities and learn about the Scouts BSA Program run by an all Scouts BSA staff.  Adults and Leaders spend the day learning new skills and making friends while attending Owl’s Nest Outdoor Leader Training. Webelos Weekend is open to all First and Second year Webelos Scouts, Webelos Leaders, and Webelos Parents. It’s held at beautiful Camp Tahosa near Ward, Colorado.

Our mission is to provide Webelos Scouts, leaders and parent adult/partners, their most positive first Scouts BSA camping experience for both youth boys and girls.

Camping, Gear and Meals: Webelos and adults camp together. We will make every effort to group people from the same Pack together. Bring your own camping gear and tent as well as a sack dinner for Friday night. All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be prepared and provided by our staff, so leave your cooking gear at home! Please note on the registration if there are any allergies. We highly recommend that if you or your Webelos has an allergy to nuts/peanuts that you provide your own food. We cannot guarantee that the cooking equipment that we use is free of nuts or peanut oil.  It is not unusual for nights to be in the low 20ºF’s, so bring plenty of warm layers, and heavier sleeping bags.

Activities: While the Webelos are off learning Scouting skills with our trained youth Scouts, the adults will be attending Owl’s Nest Leader Training. Adults and Webelos will be together only for meals and in the evenings.

It is highly recommended you download and print the Leader's Guide for 2019. Also, please download and complete the mandatory health form for each Scout and adult participant.

Scouts BSA youth: Are you interested in being a Patrol Leader or Station Staff? We're putting together the most enthusiastic, energetic, and terrific staff for this 43rd Webelos Weekend celebration! Join us and help carry on over 40 years of tradition, giving Denver Area Webelos and their parent/adult partner, the best camping experience they've ever had.

Scouts BSA leaders: Are you interested in volunteering to help the adult staff support our youth leadership and campout logistics? We have several adult support positions available.

Staff meetings are Wednesday April 10th and Wednesday May 15th, at Faith Christian Bible Chapel, 6250 Wright Street, Arvada, CO 80004 from 7pm-8pm. Come meet the rest of the team, get valuable information and learn skills to help lead the Webelos, their Parents/Partners, and Adult Leaders.
