Steps Toward Creating a Partnership

Unlike other Social Emotional Learning providers, we seek to partner with your schools, creating a dynamic partnership that can change and evolve to fit your schools needs.

First Step

Meet to discuss your school and its unique culture. We will work with you to determine your specific needs and how we can best implement the Learning for Life program in your school.  If you decide to partner with us we use a Memorandum of Understanding as a statement of committment each year.

Second Step

Scheduling a staff orinetation/development. This takes 1 - 1 1/2 hour and covers the teacher lesson planner function, as well as a general overview of how teachers can best utilize the Learning Life program in their classrooms.

Third Step

Completing the character assessments. Once these are complete we can return a report to your school in a week, giving your teachers some baseline data of student attitudes regarding character.

Fourth Step

Implementing the program within your school. The school's leadership team/advisement team decides when and how often teacher's can do the lesson plans and communicates that with the teachers so they feel free to do the lesson plans.  The school's main Learning for Life contact will work with the Learning for Life team on the other value added pieces: scheduling guest speakers, coordinating field trips, & coordinating service projects.

Cost

In an effort to serve the students of the Denver Metro area, we are working with local businesses to sponsor a school's Learning for Life program.
