Guidelines for Off Season Camping
You must check in the the Ranger upon arrival!! The Ranger will direct you to the Campmaster or your camping site.

Mandatory Requirements of Units at Peaceful Valley - Covid Considerations
- Each campsite will hold no more than 25 people, due to COVID restrictions from Elbert County.
- Reservations MUST paid in full BEFORE arrival at Camp.
- No open fires allowed at anytime. Cooking may be done utilizing liquid fueled stoves (propane or white gas).
- Must provide adequate adult leadership (at least 2) & must adhere to the Guide to Safe Scouting.
- Low impact camping is encouraged: Pack in - Pack out (including Trash).
- All vehicles are to remain on the roads or the parking areas, there are no vehicles allowed in the campsites.
- No pets, fireworks, firearms, illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages are allowed at camp at any time.
- There is no smoking allowed in the buildings or tents. Please see for Guide to Safe Scouting more information.
- Latrines and picnic tables are available at the campsites.
- Water is available at the camp, but NOT at the campsites.
- Contact the Ranger or the Campmaster for all emergencies.
Before you leave camp, you must check out with the Caretaker or the Campmaster.
Reservation Instructions
Reservations for camping at Peaceful Valley can be made online and at the Council Service Center, 10455 W. 6th Avenue, Ste., 100 in Denver. You may request specific campsites & lodges, but requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The Camping Department and the Caretaker ultimately decide on campsite and facility assignment. Refunds will not be issued for groups that do not receive specific requests.
- Select the "Lodging" option next to the calendar.
- Select the Campsite you want to Reserve.
- Select the days you want to Reserve --> Click the Reserve Button.
- Repeat steps 2-3 to reserve more multiple campsites.
- Click the Checkout button.
