Please read all of the following as there is pertinent information about these classes that is required!

Join us at McNeil Scout Ranch at Peaceful Valley, 22799 N. Elbert Road, Elbert, CO 80106 on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5, 2022 for Aquatics Supervision Training.

Please arrive by 7:00 - 8:00 am on Saturday at the pool for check in. Breakfast will be provided.

Schedule is as follows:

Saturday - Swimming Water Rescue
8:30 am - Noon - Pool, classroom Pool are
Lunch - Noon to 1:00 pm
1:00 pm - 7:00 pm  0 Pool and classroom
Saturday evening may go longer depending on the needs of finalizing and classroom or tests needed for the curriculum.

Sunday - Paddle Craft Safety
7:00 - 8:00 am Breakfast
8:00 am - 3:00 pm - Lake, Pool Area, Classroom

Cost  is $50 per participant and does not include the Aquatics Supervision book.  Aquatic Supervision Books are available at the Scout Shop and are recommended. Tent camping for staff and participants is included in the fees and is available Friday if needed to arrive to class on time and Saturday is highly recommended due to sessions running into the evening hours. We hope to have a site near the pool area. Meals are provided and included in the fees.

Aquatic Supervision Prerequisites to be completed prior to June 5 training start

Bring to camp

• BSA Health Form Parts A & B
• Any Physical waivers/limitations by physician signed section or separate letter
• Current proof of YPT
• Current proof on online completion of Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat
• Proof of CPR/First aid are required for AS certification card, however,this can be done after the session with proof of CPR/First Aid completion to JT, for issuance of certification card
• Personal gear and tents for camping
