Title - Wings Over the Rockies STEM day camp

Dates - Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14th

Times - 0900 to 1500

Location - 7711 E. Academy Blvd, Denver, CO   On the old Lowry AFB campus

Cost - $275 for the week

Class Size - approximately 20 for ScoutsBSA and 15 for Cub Scouts.

ScoutsBSA will have the opportunity to earn two merit badges (Aviation and Space Exploration) along with two Nova badges (Shoot and Up and Away).  

Cub Scouts will have the opportunity to earn five and possibly six Nova badges (Shoot, Up and Away, Tech Talk, Out of this World and Fearful Symmetry).  The sixth possible badge is to be determined.

During Nova class activities, each Scout will have the opportunity to tour the Air and Space Museum to learn more about their Nova badge as it relates to the exhibits.  They will also be performing various project activities.

 Scouts will also have an opportunity to ride on one of the simulators.
