The new BALOO program is redesigned to better aid leaders trying to have a great time in outdoor activities with their packs. The first part is an online component, taken at my.scouting.org, which covers the classroom basics of planning and organizing a pack camp-out or outdoor outing. The second part is the hands-on practical camping weekend where participants get to learn the how-to's start to finish of having fun in the outdoors with Cub Scouts. Outdoor elements of the Cub Scout program get special attention.
The overnight component is required and you will not receive credit unless you attend the entire course.
Follow the BALOO "plan" and the Cub Scouts in your pack should have a memorable outdoor camping experience! For more information contact Kathy Allen.
