Join us on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, 2022 from 8:00 am Saturday until 4:00 pm on Sunday at beautiful McNeil Scout Ranch, 22799 Elbert Road, Elbert, CO 80106 and take your outdoor ethics awareness and skills to the next level by becoming a Leave No Trace Trainer. This 16 hour course will delve into the science of Leave No Trace, the skills and ethics of the 7 Principles, activities and games for engaging a wide variety of audiences, and how to utilize the full BSA Outdoor Ethics program to strengthen your unit and its outdoor program.
This course is encouraged for youth (14 ) and ALL leaders.

Youth participants must have the maturity to discuss and teach sensitive topics, such as feminine hygiene and proper disposal of various forms of human waste.

Each participant will prepare and present a short (10 minute) lesson on a pre-assigned topic.

Saturday overnight camping is a required part of the course. Out of town participants may also choose to camp Friday night.

All Adults are required to be registered with the BSA and must be up to date on the YPT. You must bring a copy of your current certificate with you.'

All participants are required to bring a signed BSA Health Form Parts A & B to attend.
