Often underappreciated due to the dry subject matter, the Citizenship merit badges are often left to the end of a Scout's Eagle journey. This class aims to change that by offering all three merit badges taught as a single two-day course, learning what it means to be a citizen of one's community, nation and world.

The course will focus on group work and an engaging, fun and informative way of learning these Eagle Required merit badges.

Please note the following:

  • Lunch is not included. Scout must bring a sack lunch and a beverage.
  • Scout is required to attend both sessions to earn credit
  • Please bring paper and pencil
  • Please bring a signed BSA Health Form at check in
  • Wear a mask and do everything possible to social distance
  • If your Scout is ill, please stay home

The following requirements must be completed independently either before or after the program date. Guidance on completing these requirements will be discussed in class.

  • Community 3b
  • Community 4b
  • Community 7c
  • Nation 2a
  • Nation 3

This will be held at the Donald E. Scott Colorado Adventure Point. Colorado Adventure Point is located on the west side of Hamilton Scout Headquarters.
