Alpine District Spring Eco Event 2021

Clean up of Bear Creek Waterway from Morrison to Platte River.     

The Alpine District Activities Committee invites you to take part in the first ever Alpine District Spring ECO Clean-up day to be held on April 17th, 2021. The Spring ECO Clean-up for this year will take place in Jefferson County along the Bear Creek waterway from Morrison to the Platte River.  If enough interest is found in this event, then additional waterways and open spaces will be added.  

On Saturday morning starting at 8:00 AM, Troops/Units representatives can stop by Bandimere Speedway if desired, for additional printed maps of Bear Creek and trash bags.  The Troop/Unit should put the trash in the bags and return with the bags to the Speedway.  The assigned cleanup areas will be emailed to the unit coordinator on Wednesday evening with a PDF map of their assigned area.  Units then can determine when and where to meet on Saturday morning for the clean-up event.  Troops are encouraged to invite first and second year Webelos to join them as we will not be averse to their attendance.
