Great Scott! It's the 2020 Alpine District Webelos Weekend!

Join us for fun and adventure at Tahosa High Adventure Base as we head "Back to the Future" of Scouting!

Alpine’s Webelos Weekend is one of the best opportunities in the Denver Area Council to reignite the Scouting Spirit in your Webelos or Arrow of Light scouts. Unfortunately, many Cub Scouts get bored of Scouting and choose not to cross over into Scouts BSA, because they feel that Scouts BSA will be “more of the same”. At Webelos Weekend, experienced and trained Scouts BSA youth will guide your Cub on a journey through the exiting world of Scouts BSA. Our Cub Scouts will be exposed to advanced Scouting Skills, the patrol method, and, most importantly, Youth Led Scouting. We find that Cubs who attend Webelos Weekends are often fired up and excited about their future in Scouting and are much more likely to cross into Scouts BSA Troops. Let's make this a great experience for each of them!

If you’re already a Scouts BSA member, you can register as Staff. Staff Development meetings are on the following dates:

  • March 4th (First United Methodist Church in Golden – 1500 Ford Street, Golden, CO 80401)
  • April 1st (Denver Council Building – Anschutz Rooms)
  • May 6th (Denver Council Building – Anschutz Rooms)

Please plan on attending most, if not all the dates above. A special pin will be awarded to the staffers that attend all Staff Development meetings. If your troop is interested in staffing one of 8 stations, a representative must attend the March 4th meeting.  We will also need Patrol Leaders to guide the Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts around.

Staff fees, for both youth and adults, are $30. Staff registrations is limited to 120 people total. Sign up sooner than later. Late or onsite registration is $35.

After 7/24/2020 a fee of $5.00 will apply.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds are not available; however, participant substitutions are allowed. If we cancel Webelos Weekend due to ongoing public health concerns, we will issue a full refund of program fees. Please contact Nate Graf at buffalo@thegrafhaus.com with any changes to your registration.
