NOTE! This is a 2-part course beginning on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

NRA has released a new policy requiring all instructor candidates to also take the associated "student" level course as a pre-requisite to the instructor level course. Make sure to sign up for one of this years' student courses if you have not already taken one!

This course is only open to Instructor Candidates who have not previously taken an NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course.

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a pistol in target shooting. This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot pistol. Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting skills, cleaning and continued opportunities for skills development. Students will receive a course completion card upon successful completion of all learning activities. Open to men and women wishing to participate in the NRA Pistol Instructor Course.

Instructor Candidates will need to bring their own Pistol and appropriate ammunition for it.

Course will be held at Skyline Hunting and Fishing Club.
