The NRA has released a new policy requiring all instructor candidates to also take the associated "student" level course as a prerequisite to the instructor level course. Make sure to sign up for one of this years' student courses if you have not already taken one!

This course is also open to Scouters who wish to work on their Rifle Merit Badge.

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a shotgun in target shooting. This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot shotgun. Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting skills, cleaning and continued opportunities for skills development. Students will receive a course completion card upon successful completion of all learning activities. Open to men and women wishing to participate in the NRA Shotgun Instructor Course offered in April.

Course will be held at Skyline Hunting and Fishing Club, 10455 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Littleton, CO  80125

Note: This is a designated STUDENT course and cost of class DOES NOT include ammunition. Prices for ammo will be provided prior to the course.
