The course goal is to develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers who possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for organizing, conducting and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This add on to the NRA RSO course will provide the students with the Denver Area Council (DAC) Standard Operating Procedures that are necessary for running ranges on DAC properties.

Note: This course requires previous completion of an NRA Range Safety Officer course

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Please arrive 20 minutes early to sign in and receive course materials. Bring a pen, pencil (for the test), highlighter, snacks, beverages, lunch. Lunch is not provided.

Class will be held at Hamilton Scout Headquarters in the Anschutz Conference Center - Magness.

Cancellation Policy
Please plan ahead accordingly as there will be no refunds. To be eligible for a credit for the same course in the future, notice of cancellation must be received no less than 96 hours in advance of the course. Once we order course materials, we cannot return them.
