The course goal is to develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers who possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

Note: This course is a prerequisite for the DAC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) course. The SOP course scheduled for January 26, 2020 is also required to be able to conduct operations on DAC ranges.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to sign in and receive course materials.Bring a 3-ring binder, pen, pencil (for the test), highlighter, and note paper.

No lunch provided. Please bring your own lunch, snack and beverages.

Please plan ahead accordingly as there will be no refunds. To be eligible for a credit for the same course in the future, notice of cancellation must be received no less than 96 hours in advance of the course. Once we order course materials, we cannot return them.

Course will be held at Hamilton Scout Headquarters in the Anschutz Conference Room - Magness.
