Summer camp is much more than earning merit badges. It gives boys an opportunity to try new things, make new friends and develop new talents all in a supervised environment.
Troops will participate in a traditional merit badge camp program with quality food prepared for you in the Kephart Dining Hall. Tents and platforms are provided. Specialty programs include an outstanding first year camper program, horseback riding, heated pool, mountain biking, rock climbing, Peaceful Valley Adventure for older Scouts and so much more.
New 2020 Adult Fees: The fee structure as follows: 1-19 Scouts - 2 adult leaders - $175; 20-39 Scouts - 3 adult leaders - $175; 40 Scouts - 4 adult leaders. $225 for each additional adult.
Units that sign up by August 31st, 2 adult leader fees will be covered. Camping Registrar will credit the unit's summer camp registration.
Opportunity for Discounted Dining Hall Meals
For units that have the ability to bring their tents, Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch is providing an opportunity for Scouts to participate in the Dobbins program and eat in the dining hall at a lower price point. Units will set up their tents at Camp Dietler in an campsite.
All camp participants, including adults, must have medical exam prior to camp and present a completed BSA Health Form upon arrival at camp. Youth 17 and under must complete the Colorado Addendum and Colorado Addendum Additional Information. Resident camp is for registered Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts who are 11-17 years old and their leaders.
