Colorado Jamboree 

The Greater Colorado Council is delighted to host you for the upcoming Colorado Jamboree.  We’re planning a spectacular weekend and are thrilled you’re joining us for this historic event.  From amazing programs throughout the day to the live music and lasers at the arena show in the evening, this event is unlike any other.  

Costs

Youth or Adult Registration Fee:

  • $75 includes t-shirt, patch, and access to program areas *

* Additional t-shirts and patches can be purchased separately through the Colorado Jamboree website at Greater Colorado Council Colorado Jamboree 2024. 

Add On Options

  • Powder Horn (Open to both registered adults and youth who are at least 13 and have completed the 8th grade. Powder Horn is a hands-on resource management course designed to give you the contacts and tools necessary to conduct an awesome high-adventure program in your troop, team, crew, or ship.)Troop/Crew/Ship/Exploring Post Youth and all Adults
    $10 per YOUTH/ADULT
  • Early Arrival on Friday 9/27 (check-in at 7 am with Program beginning at 9 am) $4 per YOUTH (No additional fee for adults.)
  • Late Departure on Sunday 9/29 (Program runs from 9 am until 4 pm and all campers must be off ranch by 7 pm)  $4 per YOUTH (No additional fee for adults.)
  • In addition to paid Early Arrival or Late Departure ($4 per youth), we are offering prioritized access to our most popular program attractions (note limits by day and activity) per youth participant! These are limited ticket options that are your best way to get guaranteed access to these highly sought activities. The goal is to guarantee your position at the event; however, weather and other factors may affect that outcome and we will work with you in the event of an unforeseen stoppage of the event:
    • Friday Zipline (175 participant limit) $3/per YOUTH
    • Friday Shooting Sports (300 participant limit) $3/per YOUTH
    • Friday Zipline and Shooting Sports Combo (125 participant limit) $6/per YOUTH
    • Sunday Zipline (150 participant limit) $3/per YOUTH
    • Sunday Shooting Sports (275 participant limit) $3/per YOUTH
    • Sunday Zipline and Shooting Sports Combo (100 participant limit) $6/per YOUTH

Payment Schedule:

10% due today
40%
due no later than June 30, 2024
Final payment (50%) due no later than September 15, 2024

Please note: if you previously registered your unit through the "Pre Event Intent Registration", your deposit will be transferred to this new registration and applied towards your balance due.

Last day to register/update information is September 15, 2024. Registration will be CLOSED beginning September 16, 2024. Please do not call or email, you will not be allowed to register after September 15.

Detailed Registration

Each Boy(B) or Girl(G) Scouts BSA Troop must register individually, even if your units share a Committee and are considered "linked".  You will have the option to indicate if a linked troop exists during this registration process and our sub-camp directors will strive to keep those units nearby, in the event you share QM supplies.  Registrations of linked troops that are made after September 1, 2024 are not guaranteed to camp near each other. 

This stage of registration helps capture the important details for each attendee.  This will ensure we’re prepared to staff programs and, also, to ensure the safety and security of each attendee.  We recognize there is a considerable amount of information needed for this process and appreciate your time in completing this process.  Please note that the registration system will time out after twenty minutes of inactivity.  You will have the option to update these registration details at a later date.  The last day to make any modifications to your registration will be September 15, 2024.

 

Certifications, Training, & Medical Forms

Beyond the formal registration process, unit leaders will be responsible for ensuring all attendees have the required certifications, training, and medical forms completed and up-to-date prior to our event in order to participate in the overall event & individual activities.  A list of the required certifications, training, & medical form requirements will be shared prior to the Colorado Jamboree to allow unit leaders to plan accordingly.

    • Electricity requested for medical purposes (i.e CPAP).  Please note that requests for electricity may exceed the campsite's capacity to provide for such.  Please plan to arrive at camp with a battery option to charge or power your medical device(s) to avoid any problems.  In the event that you do not have a battery or non-powered option, please pack an extension cord and the sub-camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs.
