Welcome and thank you for joining the Denver Area Council for the Report to the State. The Report to the State will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 7:45 am in the Old Supreme Courtroom at the Colorado State Capitol. Please plan on arriving 20 minutes early to allow for time to get through security and sign in. Please note: time is short, please be prepared.

Cost for the Report is $15 per person including parents and guardians and does include a box lunch. Parents and siblings are welcome, however all must register and pay $15 each - box lunch consists of a sandwich, chips, cookie, pickle and a beverage. Choice of sandwich is taken at time of registration.

Each Scout and Scouter should be in a field uniform for this event.

• Attendees, please be sure shirts are buttoned and tucked in, no jeans, and clean, belted pants with no holes.
• All patches should be affixed correctly, and scarf and tie slide.
• Denver Area Council Scouts may contact the council at 303.455.5522 for assistance with a uniform or accessories if needed.

Immediately following the Report, Scouts will present the colors in the House Chambers before scheduled tours from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You are welcome to stay and listen to a live legislative session in the House or Senate following the color guard presentation. 

Lunch is from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in 30 minute rotations.

Please remember that this is a working facility and Scouts will be asked to obey the Scout Oath and Scout  Law.

This is a popular event and early registration is recommended. Please plan accordingly as there will be no refunds. If for some reason you are unable to attend after registration, please contact Tiffany Viduya at 720.266.2124 as this will allow someone else to attend in your place.

Parents, please do not drop your Scout off at the Capitol. While every parent does not need to attend, we do ask that Scouts be supervised.

This event is open to Scouts of all ages in the State of Colorado.
